The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not give preference to one prophet over another. On the Day of Resurrection, people will fall unconscious, and I will be the first one for whom the earth splits open. Then I will find Musa holding on to one of the pillars of the Throne. I do not know whether he was among those who fell unconscious, or whether he was spared on account of the unconsciousness he experienced at the first occasion."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Disputes (2412), from Musa bin Ismail, who said, Wahib narrated to us, who said, Amr bin Yahya narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Saeed, and he related it.The hadith contains the story of the dispute between the Muslim and the Jew, which is mentioned in its proper place. The two Shaykhs narrated it, Bukhari (3398) and Muslim in the Virtues of Musa (2374), both from the hadith of Sufyan, from Amr bin Yahya with his chain of transmission, but it contains no mention of the legs of the Throne.
