The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not arrive until the sun rises from its place of setting. When it rises and the people see it, all of them will believe, but that is the time when 'no soul will benefit from its faith if it had not believed before or earned good through its faith' [Anam 6:158].The Hour will surely come while two men have spread out a garment between them to trade, yet they will neither complete the sale nor fold it up. The Hour will surely come while a man has just walked away with the milk of his she-camel, yet he will not get to drink it. The Hour will surely come while a man is plastering his watering trough, yet he will not water any animals from it. The Hour will surely come while a man has raised a morsel of food to his mouth, yet he will not get to eat it."
Bukhari narrated it in Riqaq (6506), and this is his wording, and Muslim narrated it in Iman, in scattered form following hadith (157), and in Fitan and Ashrat Saah (2954), both of them through Abu Zinad Abdullah bin Zakwan, from Abdul-Rahman Araj, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.
