The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no land that Dajjal will not trample upon except Makkah and Madinah. Every mountain pass leading to them will be guarded by ranks of angels standing watch. Then Madinah will be shaken by three tremors, through which Allah will drive out every disbeliever and hypocrite."
Bukhari reported it in the Virtues of Madinah, (1881), and Muslim in the Fitan, (2943:123), both through Walid bin Muslim, who said, Abu Amr (meaning Uzai) told me, from Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talha, who said, Anas bin Malik told me, and he related it.Muslim added, "so he settles at the salt marsh," and in another version of his from a different route, "so he comes to the salt marsh of Jurf, and pitches his tent there," meaning he sets down his baggage.
