The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I know more about what the Dajjal will have with him than he does himself. He will have two flowing rivers with him. One appears to the eye as white water, and the other appears to the eye as a blazing fire. Whoever among you encounters him should go to the river that looks like fire, close his eyes, lower his head, and drink from it, for it is in fact cool water. The Dajjal's eye is wiped out, with a thick membrane over it, and between his eyes is written 'disbeliever,' which every believer will read, whether literate or illiterate."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لأنا أعلم بما مع الدجال منه، معه نهران يجريان: أحدهما رأى العين ماء أبيض، والآخر رأى العين، نار تأجج، فإما أدركن أحد، فليأت النهر الذي يراه نارا وليغمض، ثم ليطأطئ رأسه فيشرب منه، فإنه ماء بارد، وإن الدجال ممسوح العين، عليها ظفرة غليظة، مكتوب بين عينيه كافر، يقرؤه كل مؤمن كاتب وغير كاتب.
Muslim narrated it in Fitan and Signs of the Hour (2934: 105) from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, who said, Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, from Abu Malik Ashjai, from Rabi bin Harash, from Huzaifa, who said, then he mentioned it.
