Some men said, "We used to pass by Hisham bin Amir on our way to Imran bin Husayn."One day Hisham said to them, "You pass me by to go to men who were not more present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than I was, nor more knowledgeable of his hadith than I am. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Between the creation of Adam and the coming of the Hour, there is no creation greater than the Dajjal.'"
ا: كنا نمر على هشام بن عامر نأتي عمران بن حصين فقال ذات يوم: إنكم لتجاوزوني إلى رجال ما كانوا بأحضر لرسول الله ﷺ مني، ولا أعلم بحديثه مني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: ما بين خلق آدم إلى قيام الساعة خلق أكبر من الدجال.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Fitnah and the Signs of the Hour (2946), from Zuhayr bin Harb, who said, Ahmad bin Ishaq Hadrami told us, Abdul-Aziz (meaning Ibn Mukhtar) told us, Ayub told us, from Humayd bin Hilal, and he related it.His saying, "a creation greater than Dajjal," means a greater trial and a mightier force.
