The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The signs of the Hour are like beads strung on a single thread. When the thread snaps, they follow one after another."

Reported by Hakim (4/546) from Abu Amr Uthman bin Ahmad bin Simak the ascetic, who said, Hanbal bin Ishaq bin Hanbal told us, Musa bin Ismail told us, Hammad bin Salama told us, from Humayd, from Anas, and he related it. Its chain is sahih. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the criterion of Muslim." Something similar has also been narrated from the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr bin As, found in Ahmad (7040), though its chain contains weakness, and it has also been narrated from the hadith of Abu Hurairah, found in Ibn Hibban (6833), though its chain contains a narrator whose status is unknown, and Daraqutni criticized it.I will now present the details of these ten great signs in the order given in the hadith of Huzaifa bin Usayd Ghifari, because there is disagreement among the scholars regarding the order in which some of them occur, and weighing between these views is difficult. However, there is no disagreement that the sun rising from its place of setting will be the last of them.
