Ulama Sulami reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come except upon the worst dregs of humanity."

Commentary

Zia-ur-Rahman Azami

Ahmad narrated it (16071), and from his route Bukhari in Tarikh al-Kabir (7/77), and Tabarani (18/84-85), and Hakim graded it sahih (4/495-496), all of them from the hadith of Ali bin Thabit (he is Jazari), who said, Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar Ansari narrated to me, from his father, from Ilba Sulami, and he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar, for he is hasan al-hadith. Hakim said, "This is a hadith sahih in its chain of transmission."
