The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until a man passes by another man's grave and says, 'I wish I were in his place.'"
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا تقوم الساعة حتى يمر الرجل بقبر الرجل فيقول: يا ليتني كنت مكانه.
Malik reported it in Janaiz (53) from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it. Bukhari reported it in Fitan (7115), and Muslim in Fitan (157:53), both through the route of Malik, with the same wording.
