The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until the House is no longer made pilgrimage to."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لا تقوم الساعة حتى لا يحج البيت.
Ibn Hibban (6750) and Hakim (4/453) both narrated it through routes from Shuba, who said Qatada narrated to me, from Abdullah bin Abu Utbah, from Abu Saeed Khudri, and he mentioned it.Bukhari mentioned it with a suspended chain following hadith (1593), from Abdul-Rahman (that is, Ibn Mahdi), from Shuba, with the same wording, as mentioned previously in the hadith before this one. Its chain of transmission is sahih. It was also narrated from Shuba as a mawquf report, but the marfu version is more sahih.Hakim said, "This is a hadith that is sahih according to the criteria of the two Shaykhs."There is no contradiction between this hadith and the one before it, for the Hour will come upon the worst of creation, when no one remains on earth who says, "Allah, Allah." In that time, no one will perform hajj to the House or umrah. But before that, people will perform hajj and umrah, even after the emergence of Gog and Magog, for their emergence will occur in the time of Isa bin Maryam, and Allah will destroy them through the prayer of Isa , as related in the hadith of Nawas bin Saman recorded by Muslim. In the time of Isa, the Muslims will be abundant. In fact, it is established in the hadith that Isa
will perform hajj to the House in that time.
