The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Drought is not that you receive no rain, but rather that you receive rain after rain, yet the earth produces nothing."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ليست السنة بأن لا تمطروا، ولكن السنة أن تمطروا و تمطروا، ولا تنبت الأرض شيئا.
Muslim reported it in "Tribulations and the Signs of the Hour" (2904) from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Yaqub (meaning Ibn Abdul-Rahman) narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.
