The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews. The Muslims will kill them, and the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees. Then the rock or the tree will say, 'Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him,' except for the gharqad tree, for it is one of the trees of the Jews."
Muslim narrated it in "Fitan and the Signs of the Hour" (2922) from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Yaqub (meaning Ibn Abdul-Rahman) narrated to us, from Suhayl, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Bukhari narrated it in "Jihad and Expeditions" (2926) through the route of Abu Zura, from Abu Hurairah, in similar fashion, but without the phrase "except the gharqad tree, for it is a tree of the Jews."
