The Prophet ﷺ said, "The days and nights will not pass until a man called Jahjah comes to power."In another wording, "Until a man from the freed slaves called Jahjah comes to power."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لا تذهب الأيام والليالي حتى يملك رجل يقال له: الجهجاه. وفي لفظ: حتى يملك رجل من الموالي يقال له: جهجاه.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (2911), from Muhammad bin Bashshar Abdi, who said, Abdul-Kabeer bin Abdul-Majid Abu Bakr Hanafi narrated to us, who said, Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar narrated to us, who said, I heard Umar bin Hakam narrating from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it. The second wording is found in Tirmidhi (2228), from Muhammad bin Bashshar, through the same chain.
