The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not come until a fire emerges from the land of the Hijaz, lighting up the necks of the camels in Busra."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا تقوم الساعة حتى تخرج نار من أرض الحجاز، تضيء أعناق الإبل ببصرى.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (7118), and Muslim in the Book of Tribulations (2902), both through Zuhri, who said, Saeed bin Musayab told me, Abu Hurairah told me, and he related it.This fire appeared in the middle of the seventh century after Hijrah, in the year six hundred fifty-four, 654 AH. Another fire will emerge at the end of time that will drive people to their place of gathering, as will be discussed in the section on the major signs.
