The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The earth will throw up the treasures of its interior, pieces like columns of gold and silver. The murderer will come and say, 'For this I killed.' The one who severed his ties of kinship will come and say, 'For this I cut off my relatives.' The thief will come and say, 'For this my hand was cut off.' Then they will leave it and take nothing from it."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: تقيء الأرض أفلاذ كبدها أمثال الأسطوان من الذهب والفضة فيجيء القاتل فيقول: في هذا قتلت، ويحيء القاطع فيقول: في هذا قطعت رحمي، ويجيء السارق فيقول: في هذا قطعت يدي، ثم يدعونه فلا يأخذون منه شيئا.
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on zakat (1013) through several routes from Muhammad bin Fudayl, from his father, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it. Other hadiths with the same meaning are mentioned in the Book of Zakat.
