Some men from among the harsh-natured bedouins used to come to the Prophet ﷺ and ask him, "When will the Hour come?"He would look at the youngest among them and say, "If this one lives, he will not reach old age before your Hour comes upon you."Hisham, one of the narrators of this hadith, said that this means their death.
Bukhari narrated it in Riqaq (6511), and Muslim in Fitan (2952), both through the route of Hisham, from his father, from Ayesha, and mentioned it. The wording is Bukhari's.His statement, "until your hour comes upon you," means, you and those with you in this generation are being addressed, and you will not live to witness the Hour. Accordingly, the Hour is near in relation to the time that has already passed.
