The Prophet ﷺ said, "I saw what my nation will face after me, how some of them will shed the blood of others. This has been decreed by Allah Most High, just as it was decreed for the nations before them. So I asked Him to grant me the right of intercession for them on the Day of Resurrection, and He granted it."
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال: رأيت ما تلقى أمتي بعدي، وسفك بعضهم دماء بعض، وسبق ذلك من الله تعالى كما سبق الأمم قبلهم، فسألته أن يوليني شفاعة يوم القيامة فيهم، ففعل.
Ahmad (27410) and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (23/222) both narrated it from the hadith of Abu Yaman, who said, we were informed by Shuayb bin Abu Hamza, from Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Husayn, from Anas bin Malik, from Umm Habiba, and he related it.Some of them narrated it from Abu Yaman, from Shuayb, from Zuhri, from Anas, from Umm Habiba.Ahmad said, "This is not from the hadith of Zuhri, it is rather from the hadith of Ibn Abu Husayn."This is what Daraqutni favored in Al-Ilal (15/271).
