The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You imagine that I will be the last of you to die, but in truth I will be among the first of you to die. You will follow me in scattered groups, striking one another's necks."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: تزعمون أني من آخركم وفاة، ألا وإني من أولكم وفاة، ولتتبعني أفنادا، يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض.

Narrated by Abu Yaala (7366) and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (19905), both through Walid bin Muslim, who said, "Marwan bin Jinah narrated to us, from Yunus bin Maysara bin Halabas, from Muawiya bin Abu Sufyan," and he related it.The wording given is that of Abu Yaala, while Tabarani's version is longer. Its chain is hasan because of Marwan bin Jinah, whose hadith is hasan.
