The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The time is near when the best property of a Muslim will be sheep that he takes to the mountain peaks and the places where rain falls, fleeing with his religion from trials."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يوشك أن يكون خير مال المسلم غنما يتبع بها شعف الجبال ومواقع القطر يفر بدينه من الفتن.
Malik narrated it in the Book of Seeking Permission (16), from Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Sasaa, from his father, from Abu Saeed Khudri, who said, and then he related the hadith. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tribulations (7088) through the route of Malik, with the same wording.His saying, "the peaks of the mountains" - the shafah of anything is its highest point.
