Saeed bin Yasar reported,

Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani reported from Abu Talha al-Ansari, who said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or images.'"Saeed bin Yasar said, "I went to Ayesha and said to her, 'This man is telling me that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or images." Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mention that?'"She replied, "No, but I will tell you what I saw him do. I saw him set out on one of his expeditions, so I took a patterned cloth and hung it as a curtain over the doorway. When he returned and saw the cloth, I recognized displeasure in his face. He pulled it down until he tore it, or cut it, and said, 'Allah has not commanded us to clothe stones and clay.' So we cut it into two cushions and stuffed them with palm fiber, and he did not find fault with me for that."

عن سعيد بن يسار قال

عن زيد بن خالد الجهني، عن ابي طلحة الانصاري، قال: سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: لا تدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه كلب، ولا تماثيل(الأول) قال سعيد بن يسار: فأتيت عائشة فقلت: أن هذا يخبرني أن النبي ﷺ قال: لا تدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه كلب ولا تماثيل فهل سمعت رسول الله ﷺ ذكر ذلك؟ فقالت: لا، ولكن سأحدثكم ما رأيته فعل، رأيته خرج في غزاته، فاخذت نمطا فسترته على الباب، فلما قدم فرأى النمط، عرفت الكراهية في وجهه، فجذبه حتى هتكه او قطعه، وقال: أن الله لم يأمرنا أن نكسو الحجارة والطين قالت: فقطعنا منه وسادتين، وحشوتهما ليفا، فلم يعب ذلك علي.
