I used to perfume the Prophet ﷺ with the finest fragrance he could find, until I would see the sheen of the perfume on his head and beard.
كنت أطيب النبي ﷺ بأطيب ما يجد حتى أجد وبيص الطيب في رأسه ولحيته.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Dress (5923), and Muslim in the Book of Hajj (1190: 44), both through Abu Ishaq Sabi, from Abdul-Rahman bin Aswad, from his father, from Ayesha, who narrated it.
