He said, "I saw on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ this hair of his white," and Zuhayr placed some of his fingers on his lower lip area indicating the tuft of hair beneath it.He was asked, "How old were you at that time?"He replied, "I was old enough to shape arrows and feather them."
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ هذه منه بيضاء- وضع زهير بعض أصابعه على عنفقته- قيل له: مثل من أنت يومئذ؟ فقال: أبري النبل وأريشها.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Virtues (2342) through several routes from Zuhayr Abu Khaythama, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Juhayfa, and he related it.Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Virtues (3545) from the hadith of Israil, from Abu Ishaq, from Wahb Abu Juhayfa Suwai, who said, "I saw the Prophet ﷺ, and I saw a whiteness beneath his lower lip, at the tuft of hair on the chin."
