The Prophet ﷺ would recline in my lap while I was menstruating and recite the Quran.
أن النبي ﷺ كان يتكئ في حجري وأنا حائض، ثم يقرأ القرآن.
Bukhari related it in "Menstruation" (297) and Muslim in "Menstruation" (301), both from the hadith of Mansur bin Safiya, from his mother Safiya, from Ayesha, and she related the hadith.
