The family of Muhammad ﷺ never ate two meals in a single day without one of them being dates.In another narration from her, she said, "The family of Muhammad ﷺ never had their fill of wheat bread for two days in a row without one of the meals being dates."
ما أكل آل محمد ﷺ أكلتين في يوم إلا إحداهما تمر. وفي رواية عنها قالت: ما شبع آل محمد ﷺ يومين من خبز بر إلا وأحدهما تمر.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on Riqaq (6455), via Ishaq Azraq, from Misar bin Kidam, from Hilal (that is, Ibn Humayd), from Urwa, from Ayesha, and he related it with the first wording. Muslim narrated it in the chapter on Zuhd (2971) via Waki, from Misar, with the same chain, with the second wording.
