Hudhayfah said, "The hypocrites today are worse than those in the time of the Prophet ﷺ. Back then they used to conceal it, but today they openly display it."

عن حذيفة بن اليمان قال
إن المنافقين اليوم شر منهم على عهد النبي ﷺ كانوا يومئذ يسرون واليوم يجهرون.
Bukhari narrated it in "Fitan" (7113), from Adam bin Abu Iyas, who said, Shuba narrated to us, from Wasil Ahdab, from Abu Waail, from Huzaifa bin Yaman, who said, and then he mentioned it.
