Abu Masud Uqba bin Amr reported,

A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I sometimes stay away from the dawn prayer because of so-and-so, on account of how long he prolongs it for us."He said, "I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more severe in anger while delivering an admonition than he was that day."He said, "People, some of you drive others away. Whoever among you leads the people in prayer, let him keep it brief, for among them are the sick, the elderly, and those with pressing needs."
