Muslim narrated it in al-Birr wal-Silah (2562) from Qutayba bin Saeed, who said, Abdul-Aziz, meaning Ibn Muhammad, narrated to us, from Ala, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Abu Dawud (4914) and Ahmad (9092) both narrated it through routes from Mansur, from Abu Hazim, from Abu Hurairah, in similar wording, with the addition, "Whoever shuns his brother for more than three days and then dies will enter the Fire."There is disagreement over whether this is a raised narration (marfu) or a stopped one (mawquf), and it may be that one of the narrators added this from himself as a form of deterrence and rebuke, since this addition does not appear in the sahih hadiths.
