The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The gates of Paradise are opened on Monday and Thursday, and every Muslim servant who associates nothing with Allah is forgiven, except a man between whom and his brother there is enmity. It is said, 'Hold off on these two until they reconcile. Hold off on these two until they reconcile. Hold off on these two until they reconcile.'"
Malik narrated it in Husn al-Khuluq (17) from Suhayl bin Abu Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Muslim narrated it in al-Birr wal-Silah (2565:5) by way of Malik, with the same chain.Muslim also narrated it by another route from Suhayl, with a similar wording, except that he said, "except those who have severed relations with one another", and in another narration, "except those who have shunned one another."
