The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If ill omen exists in anything, it is in the horse, the wife, and the house."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إن كان في شيء ففي الفرس والمرأة والمسكن. يعني الشؤم.
Malik reported it in the Book of Seeking Permission (22), from Abu Hazim, from Sahl bin Saad, and he mentioned it.Bukhari reported it in the Book of Marriage (5095), and Muslim in the Book of Greetings (2226), both of them through the route of Malik, with the same wording.This hadith also contains a denial of bad omens in the three things mentioned, and the meaning of the hadith is that there is no bad omen in these three things either.
