I came to Ayesha and said, "Mother, narrate to me something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Birds fly according to divine decree.' And he used to be pleased by a good omen."
أتيت عائشة، فقلت: يا أمتاه، حدثيني شيئا سمعتيه من رسول الله ﷺ، فقالت: قال رسول الله ﷺ: الطير تجري بقدر. وكان يعجبه الفأل الحسن.
Ahmad (25982) and Bazzar in Kashf Astar (2161) both narrated it from the hadith of Hassan bin Ibrahim, who said, Saeed bin Masruq narrated to us, from Yusuf bin Abu Burda bin Abu Musa Ashari, from Abu Burda, and he mentioned it.
