The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered a person in the state of ihram to kill a snake at Mina.
أن رسول الله ﷺ أمر محرما بقتل حية بمنى.
Muslim narrated it in "The Book of Greetings" (1235), from Abu Kurayb, from Hafs bin Ghiyath, from Amash, from Ibrahim, from Aswad, from Abdullah (that is, Ibn Masud), and he related it.Humaydi mentioned it in Al-Jam Bayn Al-Sahihayn (1/135) among the reports unique to Muslim, and said, "It is said that it is part of his hadith, 'We were in a cave, and a snake came out, so we rushed toward it.'"
