Tabarani related it in Al-Kabir (3/200) through several routes from Shuayb bin Bayan, who said, Imran Qattan told us, from Qatada, from Abu Tufayl, from Huzaifa bin Usayd, who said, and then he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Shuayb bin Bayan, for his hadith is graded hasan when it has sahih foundations, and he neither contradicts nor comes with anything objectionable, and this is one such case, and likewise his teacher Imran bin Dawwar Qattan. He also graded its chain hasan in Targhib wal-Tarhib (246).
