Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me along with Zubayr and Miqdad bin Aswad, saying, "Go until you reach the meadow of Khakh, where you will find a woman traveling on a camel carrying a letter. Take it from her."So we set off, our horses galloping, until we reached the meadow. There we found the woman, and we said to her, "Hand over the letter."She replied, "I have no letter with me."We said, "You will either produce the letter or remove your clothes."So she pulled it out from her braided hair. We brought it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and it turned out to be from Hatib bin Abu Balta to certain polytheists in Makkah, informing them of some of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ affairs… and the hadith continues.

عن علي بن أبي طالب قال

بعثني رسول الله ﷺ أنا والزبير، والمقداد بن الأسود، قال: انطلقوا حتى تأتوا روضة خاخ، فإن بها ظعينة، ومعها كتاب فخذوه منها فانطلقنا تعادى بنا خيلنا حتى انتهينا إلى الروضة، فإذا نحن بالظعينة، فقلنا أخرجي الكتاب، فقالت: ما معي من كتاب، فقلنا: لتخرجن الكتاب أو لتلقين الثياب، فأخرجته من عقاصها، فأتينا به رسول الله ﷺ الله فإذا فيه من حاطب بن أبي بلتعة إلى أناس من المشركين من أهل مكة يخبرهم ببعض أمر رسول الله ﷺ… الحديث.
