Ayesha reported,

The Prophet ﷺ intended to depart, but he saw Safiyyah at the entrance of her tent looking gloomy and sad because she had begun her menstrual period. He said, "May you be wounded and have your head shaved," an expression in the dialect of Quraysh, "you are going to detain us!"Then he asked, "Did you perform the tawaf on the Day of Sacrifice?"She replied, "Yes."He said, "Then depart."
