The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not call grapes 'karm,' and do not say, 'What a wretched age,' for indeed Allah is the One who controls time."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لا تسموا العنب الكرم، ولا تقولوا: خيبة الدهر، فإن الله هو الدهر.
Bukhari narrated it in Adab (6182), from Ayyash bin Walid, who said, "Abdul-Ala narrated to us, Muammar narrated to us, from Zuhri, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah," and he mentioned it.
