The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The greatest slanderer among people is a man who exchanges insults with another and ends up satirizing the entire tribe, and a man who disowns his father and accuses his mother of adultery."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن أعظم الناس فرية لرجل هاجى رجلا فهجا القبيلة بأسرها، ورجل انتفى من أبيه وزنى امه.
Ibn Majah (3761) narrated it, and this is his wording, as did Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad (874), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (5785). All of them narrated it via Amash, from Amr bin Mura (he is al-Muradi al-Jamali), from Yusuf bin Mahak, from Ubayd bin Umayr, from Ayesha, who related it. Its isnad is sahih. Busiri also graded it sahih in al-Zawaid.
