I was with Abu Darda in the company of the Messenger of Allah when he ﷺ said, "Whoever guards what is between his jaws and what is between his legs will enter Paradise."
كنت أنا وأبو الدرداء عند رسول الله فقال ﷺ: من حفظ ما بين فقميه و رجليه دخل الجنة.
Reported by Abu Yaala (7275), Hakim (4/358), and Bayhaqi in Shuab al-Iman (5371), all of them from the hadith of Musa bin Ayun, from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel, from Sulayman bin Yasar, from Aqeel the freedman of Ibn Abbas, from Abu Musa, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel and Aqeel the freedman of Ibn Abbas, for the two of them make the hadith hasan.Ahmad (19559) reported it by this same route, except that he left the teacher of Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqeel unnamed, saying, "from a man, from Abu Musa," and he did not mention Abu Darda in it. The unnamed man has been identified as Sulayman bin Yasar. Ibn Hajar also graded it hasan in Fath al-Bari (11/309).His saying, "al-fuqm," with the fa vowelled with damma, means the beard.
