No one questioned the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the Dajjal more than I did. He said to me, "My dear son, why does this trouble you? He will not harm you."I said, "People claim that he will have with him rivers of water and mountains of bread."He replied, "He is more insignificant before Allah than that."
ما سأل رسول الله ﷺ أحد عن الدجال أكثر مما سألته عنه، فقال لي: أي بني وما ينصبك منه؟ إنه لن يضرك قال قلت: إنهم يزعمون أن معه أنهار الماء وجبال الخبز، قال: هو أهون على الله من ذلك.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Manners (2152) through multiple routes from Yazid bin Harun, from Ismail bin Abu Khalid, from Qays bin Abu Hazim, from Mughira bin Shuba, who said, and then he recounted it.Muslim then mentioned afterward that several others narrated it from Ismail with this same chain, but none of their versions contain the Prophet's ﷺ statement to Mughira, "O my son," except in the narration of Yazid alone.
