Ayesha reported,
She said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Aisha, this is Jibreel sending you greetings of peace."I replied, "And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah 
."She said, and he was seeing what we could not see.

Bukhari narrated it in al-Adab (6201), and Muslim in the Virtues of the Companions (2447:91), both of them through Abu Yaman, who said, Shuayb told us, from Zuhri, who said, Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman told me, that Ayesha said, then he mentioned it.
