The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no good in one who does not show hospitality to guests."

Ahmad (17419) narrated it from Hajjaj (that is, Ibn Muhammad) and Husayn bin Musa, and Ruyani in his Musnad (176) narrated it through the route of Ibn Wahb, all of them from Ibn Lahia, from Yazid bin Abu Habib, from Abu Khayr, from Uqba bin Amir, who mentioned it.Its chain is hasan. There is well known discussion about Ibn Lahia, but what Ibn Wahb narrated from him was accepted by some of the imams, and this narration is one of those.
