She entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he drank while standing from a waterskin that was hanging up, so I went to its mouth and cut it off.
دخل علي رسول الله ﷺ فشرب من قربة معلقة قائما، فقمت إلى فيها فقطعته.
Tirmidhi narrated it in Jami (1892) and in Shamail (214), and Ahmad (27448), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (5318), all of them through routes from Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Amra, from his grandmother Kabsha, who said, and then she mentioned it.Ibn Majah narrated it (3423) through the route of Muhammad bin Sabbah Jurjarai, and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (25/15) through the route of Muhammad bin Isa Tabba, both of them from Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir, and he added in it, "seeking the blessing of the place where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." Its chain of transmission is sahih.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih gharib hadith."
