The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should drink while standing. Whoever forgets should make himself vomit."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا يشربن أحد منكم قائما، فمن نسي فليستقي.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (2026), from Abdul-Jabbar bin Ala, who said, Marwan, meaning Fazari, narrated to us, who said, Umar bin Hamza narrated to us, who said, Abu Ghatfan Murri informed me that he heard Abu Hurairah say what has already been mentioned.
