I was a guest of the Prophet ﷺ one night, so he ordered a side of meat to be roasted. He took the knife and began to cut pieces from it for me.
ضفت النبي ﷺ ذات ليلة فأمر بجنب فشوي، وأخذ الشفرة فجعل يحز لي بها منه.
Abu Dawud (188), Tirmidhi in Shamail (168), and Ahmad (18212) all narrated it through various chains from Waki, from Masaar, from Abu Sakhra Jami bin Shaddad, from Mughira bin Abdullah, from Mughira bin Shuba, who said, and then he related it.Its chain is hasan on account of Mughira bin Abdullah bin Abu Aqeel Yashkuri Kufi, for he is hasan al-hadith. Ajli and Ibn Hibban both deemed him trustworthy, and a number of narrators transmitted from him.
