I saw the Prophet ﷺ eating dates while squatting.
رأيت النبي ﷺ مقعيا يأكل تمرا.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (2044:148) via Hafs bin Ghiyath, from Musab bin Sulaym, who said, "Anas bin Malik narrated to us," and he mentioned it.His saying, "muqiyan," means sitting on his buttocks with his shins raised upright.
