The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me while I was sitting like this, having placed my left hand behind my back and leaning on the heel of my hand. He said, "Are you sitting in the manner of those upon whom Allah's wrath has fallen?"
مر بي رسول الله ﷺ وأنا جالس هكذا، وقد وضعت يدي اليسرى خلف ظهري واتكأت على ألية يدي، فقال: أتقعد قعدة المغضوب عليهم؟
Abu Dawud (4848), Ahmad (19454), Ibn Hibban (5674), and Hakim (4/269) all narrated it, each through the route of Isa bin Yunus, who said, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, from Ibrahim bin Maysara, from Amr bin Shareed, from his father Shareed bin Suwayd, who said, then he mentioned it. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, and its isnad is sahih.
