Abu Saeed Khudri was informed of a funeral. He seemed to hold back until the people had taken their seats, then he came along with them. When the people saw him, they hurried to make room for him, and some of them stood up so he could sit in their place. He said, "No. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The best of gatherings are the most spacious ones.'"Then he moved aside and sat in a spacious spot.
