Then he, meaning the Prophet ﷺ, said, "Rejoice, Ayesha, for Allah has sent down your vindication," and he recited the Quran to her.My parents said, "Get up and kiss the head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."I replied, "I praise Allah , not the two of you."
ثم قال- تعني النبي ﷺ ابشري يا عائشة فإن الله قد أنزل عذرك وقرأ عليها القرآن، فقال أبواي: قومي فقبلي رأس رسول الله ﷺ، فقلت: أحمد الله عز وجل لا إياكما.
Abu Dawud (5219) narrated it, and Bayhaqi (7/101) narrated it through his route, from Musa bin Ismail, who said, Hammad (that is, Ibn Salama) narrated to us, Hisham bin Urwa informed us, from Urwa, that Ayesha said, and then she mentioned it. Its isnad is sahih. The hadith, meaning the hadith of the slander, is found in the Sahihayn through various routes from Ayesha, but none of them mention the kissing.
