I went in with Abu Bakr to visit his family, and there was his daughter Ayesha lying down, stricken with fever. I saw her father kiss her cheek and say, "How are you, my dear daughter?"
دخلت مع أبي بكر على أهله، فإذا عائشة ابنته مضطجعة، قد أصابتها حمى، فرأيت أباها، فقبل خدها، وقال: كيف أنت يا بنية؟
Bukhari narrated it in the Merits of the Ansar chapter (3918) from Ahmad bin Uthman, who said, Shurayh bin Maslamah told us, Ibrahim bin Yusuf told us, from his father, from Abu Ishaq, who said, I heard Bara narrating it, and he mentioned it at the end of a long hadith.Abu Dawud narrated it (5222) from Abdullah bin Salim Kufi, from Ibrahim bin Yusuf, in a similar manner, and in it, "I entered with Abu Bakr the first time he came to Madinah."
