Abu Hurairah reported,

Whenever anyone took the Messenger of Allah ﷺ by the hand, he would never withdraw his hand until the other man let go. His knee was never seen extending beyond the knee of the one sitting beside him. Whenever anyone shook his hand, he would turn his face fully toward him and would not turn away until the man had finished speaking.
