The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you visits his brother and sits with him, he should not leave until he asks his permission."
قال النبي ﷺ: إذا زار أحدكم أخاه، فجلس عنده، فلا يقومن حتى يستأذنه.

Abu Shaykh reported it in Tabaqat Muhaddithin bi-Isbahan (2/205) from Ishaq bin Muhammad bin Hakeem, who said, "Yahya bin Waqid narrated to us, Ibn Abu Ghaniya narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Jabala bin Suhaym narrated to us, from Ibn Umar," who said, and then he related it.Its chain is hasan on account of Ishaq bin Muhammad bin Hakeem. Abu Shaykh said, "He was a truthful sheikh, a man of literary refinement and knowledge of hadith."Ibn Abu Ghaniya is Yahya bin Abdul-Malik bin Humayd bin Abu Ghaniya, al-Khuzai, al-Kufi.
