Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ seated Fadl bin Abbas behind him on the back of his mount on the Day of Sacrifice. Fadl was a handsome man. The Prophet ﷺ stopped to give the people religious rulings, and a beautiful woman from Khathaam came forward to seek a ruling from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Fadl began staring at her, struck by her beauty. The Prophet ﷺ turned and saw Fadl looking at her, so he reached his hand back, took hold of Fadl's chin, and turned his face away from looking at her.She said, "Messenger of Allah, Allah's obligation upon His servants regarding Hajj has reached my father as a very old man who cannot sit upright on a mount. Will it suffice for him if I perform Hajj on his behalf?"He replied, "Yes."
